Explaining the reason for movement ~ V+(으)러 가다

To let someone know what the reason or object of movement is we can use: V+(으)러 가다. We may also use V+(으)러 오다 or V+(으)러 다니다 for coming for and frequent for respectively.

Examples
남자친구를 만나러 가요
I’m going to meet my boyfriend.

저녁 먹으러 집에 가요
I’m going home to eat dinner.

편지 부치러 우체국에 가요
I’m going to the post office to mail a letter.

친구를 만나러 한국에 왔어요.
I came to Korea to visit a friend.
