A+아/어/여 보이다 ~ To seem like A

The grammar structure +아/어/여 보이다 is added to adjectives to express conjection based on outward appearance. That is, that is it  ‘looks like A’ or ‘seems like A’.

Examples
그분이 피곤해 보여요.
He looks tired.

가방이 무거워 보여요. 도와줄까요?
That bag looks heavy. Shall I help you?

천사 같아 보여요.
You look like an angel.
