N1+말고 N2 ~ Not N1 but N2

So N1+말고 N2 is used when you want to say ‘Not N1, but N2’, so you reject one object while proposing another.

Examples
산말고 바다에 가자
Let’s go to the sea, not the mountain

그 여자말고 이 여자요
Not that girl, this girl

일본어말고 한국어를 배우고 있어요
